The Cardiac Defect, Mammuth's third full length album, was
released 13 February 2008 by Talking Music. The album is recorded in
Fascination Street Studios in Örebro by David Castillo and Jens
Bogren - who have previously worked with band as Opeth, Katatonia and Soilwork. The album also contains a duet with Jan Jämte of
Khoma (Roadrunner Records).
The sound is heavy riff-based rock with touches of screamo. Emotional and brutal, beautiful and full of energy - that is The Cardiac
Defect! But don't take our word for it... Make sure to listen to it
before someone else does!
Mammuth is based in Örebro, Sweden, and has been around for 7
years, touring all over Europe. They have gained a great live reputation
and lots of experience on the way, and in 2008 Mammuth might be
the band on everybody's lips!
